I carefully picked letter designs from seven fonts and combined them into a 23" x 37.5" poster, which I printed using Epson printers in matte. Two of the fonts I used were Stempel Garamond Lt Std and Platelet. The posters were meant to demonstrate figure-ground relationships and design hierarchy.
This is a mockup I used to show off my poster in the real world. I used the font, Fette Fraktur LT Std as my highlight point. This letter form is an S and looks like a swan to me when focused. 
In the photo grid above, I pulled pictures of found fonts; zoomed in on images representing figure-ground, and information regarding the fonts. I also included the CMY poster that shows the overprinting process. 



Below, is my CMY poster that demonstrates the overprinting process. I added it to a torn-page mockup because I thought it added flare to the poster. I moved the objects to more overlap than the B&W poster.
